Qualifications

• Waste Industry / Scrap Metal experience (desirable)
• Weighbridge or admin experience (advantageous)
• Strong computer skills and confidence using systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to pass a medical and regular random Drug & Alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Operate and record transactions through the weighbridge system.
• Perform accurate data entry and record keeping in a busy environment.
• Answer phone and email inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients.
• Process EFTPOS transactions and assist with basic accounts/admin tasks.
• Communicate effectively with site staff, drivers and customers.
• Support general office and site administration as required.
