Job summary

Respect Group Limited in New South Wales is seeking a Food Services Assistant to support daily meal delivery and catering in our residential aged care home. On weekends, you will take on additional cooking duties, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals.

You will assist with preparation, plating and serving, maintain hygiene and safety, and collaborate with the care and hospitality team to create a welcoming dining experience for our residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, food service or hospitality environments.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and delivery of meals, snacks and beverages.
• Prepare and cook meals on weekends according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary and texture-modified requirements.
• Assist with plating, serving and meal distribution.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Clean kitchen equipment and preparation areas.
• Follow food safety procedures and organisational policies.
• Collaborate with care and hospitality teams to create a positive dining experience.
