Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Chef to support day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs to meet site standards and quality. You will manage the cooking process at your station across several dishes, ensuring timely delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and proper use of equipment on site, inventory awareness, and collaboration with the culinary team to sustain high-quality food and service during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in contract catering.
• Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Excellent cooking methods, ingredients, and processes.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day food preparation in the absence of the senior chef.
• Manage cooking at your station for several dishes and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and proper use of utensils and equipment.
• Notify Senior Chefs when inventory is running low and keep kitchen stocked.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service.
