Job summary

The University of Tasmania is seeking a Web Designer to design and develop high-quality multimedia online learning content, including videos, animations, and quizzes, and to lead the visual design of national online education programs in Hobart.

You will collaborate with developers, educational designers and academics to deliver best-practice digital learning experiences and ensure accessibility and copyright compliance across courses and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent with web design experience.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for learning content.
Experience with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate to develop online content.
Video recording/editing production experience.
Graphic design skills for web, LMS, and digital learning environments.

Responsibilities

Develop best-practice and innovative multimedia materials and web content for learning.
Maintain and improve our high standard of education delivery and student experience.
Work with our team, and wider School, to improve education content and delivery.
Advise on compliance requirements such as accessibility and copyright.
