Experis Australia is partnering with a leading Higher Education organisation to recruit an experienced Web Content Writer for a large-scale website redevelopment project.

You will create and optimise content to improve user experience, support strategic objectives, and enhance search performance across a complex digital environment. Collaboration with the Web Lead and SMEs will drive content from scratch and repurposing existing copy.

Qualifications

• Strong background in copywriting and digital content creation.
• Experience writing for large, complex websites in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on SEO and content optimisation experience (SEMrush or similar).
• Ability to interpret complex information into clear, engaging digital content.

Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite and optimise web content for a major redevelopment.
• Create audience-focused content from stakeholder input.
• Repurpose content to support new information architecture and user journeys.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, editorial standards, SEO and AEO requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and digital stakeholders to review content.
• Apply SEO best practices and use SEMrush to optimise performance.
• Support content design and information architecture through content organisation.
• Track tasks and progress through Asana.
