Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the team and drive architectural uplift, build complex wealth calculation engines and modernise legacy platforms into a scalable, cloud-native ecosystem.

The role requires hands-on experience across front-end and back-end technologies, strong API design, microservices, and the ability to mentor mid-level engineers while leveraging AI productivity tools.

Qualifications

• Full stack engineering experience in enterprise apps.
• Proficient in Java, React, MongoDB and JBoss.
• Experience using AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot / Claude).
• Experience in Financial Advice, Wealth Management or BFSI.
• Experience with XPLAN, Endeavour or Midwinter.
• Design & develop robust back-end services and responsive front-ends.
• Write clean, secure, scalable code; leverage AI tools.
• APIs integration and microservices architectures.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and provide tech leadership.
