Job summary

FinXL is seeking an Analyst Programmer / Software Developer to join our Sydney CBD team. The role is full‑time and onsite, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, build and roll out products aligned to the company’s vision.

You will work with Java frameworks, microservices, cloud platforms and modern web technologies to deliver high‑quality software. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a similar role, strong communication, and hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, automation and web

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience as an Analyst Programmer with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to stand‑ups, card kick-offs, walkthroughs and showcases.
• Develop a quality, maintainable codebase and unit test against acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a green CI build and react quickly to failures.
• Liaise with business and testers on technical design decisions.
• Complete story development as per Jira backlog.
• Create and maintain documentation on code and design decisions.
