Job summary

Melbourne Water Corporation is seeking three Capital Initiation Officers in Melbourne, spanning the Peninsula Westernport, Werribee and Maribyrnong regions. The roles focus on investigating, scoping and shaping projects across waterways and catchments, with travel to MW work centres and stakeholder meetings.

These ongoing, permanent positions are graded level 5, offering AUD 99,581 plus super. Experience with ALTUS, Maximo or GIS is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scoping, investigation and design.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and deliver clear project scope.
• Ability to work across projects with varying scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end project lifecycle from identified need through scoping and design.
• Coordinate projects to align requirements, constraints and stakeholder needs.
• Manage projects valued between approximately $100,000 and $1 million.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Engage with councils, landowners and heritage bodies as required.
• Collaborate with delivery teams as projects move into implementation.
• Leverage ALTUS, Maximo or GIS information systems to inform planning.
