Job summary

Melbourne Water is seeking Crew Members - Natural Resource Management (NRM) to join our team in Brooklyn. The role is hands-on, working across Melbourne's northern and western suburbs, focusing on vegetation protection, weed control and revegetation to maintain waterways and environmental assets.

You will be part of a supportive team, delivering field-based environmental works with safety as a core priority and opportunities to develop practical environmental and land management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental, conservation, land management, parks, landscaping, horticulture, agriculture or related outdoor work is highly regarded.
• Strong focus on safety and reliability in field environments.
• Enthusiasm and a great attitude are important assets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental and land management activities as part of a field-based crew.
• Weed control and herbicide spraying.
• Revegetation and environmental restoration works.
• Vegetation and land management activities.
• Operate hand and power tools and maintain equipment.
• Support protection and enhancement of waterways and natural environments.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture in all tasks.
