Job summary

Keppel Bay Marina is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage payroll and end-to-end bookkeeping across the marina and waterfront restaurant. You will participate in a formal handover and training period with the current Bookkeeper, ensuring seamless operations.

The role covers payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, BAS/IAS and payroll tax, as well as liaison with suppliers and management. Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
• Experience processing payroll (Employment Hero ideally).
• Good working knowledge of Xero.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Confidence handling confidential payroll and employee information.

Responsibilities

• Fortnightly payroll processing, including payroll checks, STP and superannuation.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Supplier invoices and creditor payments.
• Daily sales and EFTPOS reconciliations.
• Reconciling payment platforms and clearing accounts.
• BAS, IAS and payroll tax preparation.
• General ledger and account reconciliations.
• Liaising with suppliers, staff and management.
