Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts is seeking hospitality stars for casual roles in Bar, Restaurant and Café teams at Blue Dolphin Resort in Yamba. You’ll contribute to a busy seasonal service with opportunities across holidays and summer, delivering friendly guest experiences in a stunning waterfront setting.

We’re hiring now for immediate shifts, with additional shifts during school holidays. RSA certification and a positive, energetic attitude are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a café, restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality environment.
• Barista experience and confidence preparing quality coffee.
• A current RSA certificate.
• Positive, energetic and professional attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, welcoming service to guests and visitors.
• Take food and beverage orders and process payments using POS systems.
• Prepare and serve quality coffee.
• Serve beer, wine, spirits and cocktails responsibly (RSA required).
• Promote menu items, specials and enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar spaces and service stations.
• Restock beverages, supplies and equipment throughout service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and cleaning.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety procedures.
• Support teammates during busy service periods to keep service flowing smoothly.
