Job summary

MACA Infrastructure is seeking a Watercart Operator to join our Mt Evelyn team, supporting Yarra Ranges operations. You will manage watercart operations, complete pre-start checks, and align with safety standards to meet shift targets.

The role requires HR licensing, experience on unsealed roads, and a construction white card. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with growth potential and a commitment to safe, efficient site practices.

Qualifications

• Watercart driver with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roads.
• Local to Yarra Ranges Shire available.
• Construction white card held and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
• Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner to achieve shift production targets.
• Report faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
• Report hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents promptly.
• Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of MACA work practices.

MACA Infrastructure are seeking aWatercart Operatorto join our team based in Mt Evelyn, maintaining the Yarra Ranges.

The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
• Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.
• Report any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
• Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.
• Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

We are looking for:

• Watercart driver with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roads
• Familiarity with or local to the Yarra Ranges Shire
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Construction white card
