Job summary

MACA Infrastructure is seeking a Watercart Operator based in Mt Evelyn to maintain the Yarra Ranges. The role focuses on timely, safe operation of the plant they are assessed as competent in.

The position offers a stable pathway within MACA, part of a larger contracting group. Responsibilities include performing pre-start checks, operating the plant to meet shift targets, reporting faults and hazards, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment while contributing to ongoing improvements in

• Watercart operator with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roads.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Construction white card is required to operate in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
• Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.
• Report any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
• Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.
• Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a Watercart Operator to join our team based in Mt Evelyn, maintaining the Yarra Ranges.

The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

We are looking for:

• Watercart driver with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roads
• Familiarity with or local to the Yarra Ranges Shire
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Construction white card
