Job summary

Protech Mackay is seeking an experienced Water Cart Operator to join a residential expansion project based in Sarina. This is a hands-on role with ongoing local work, consistent hours, and the benefit of being home every night on a long-term project.

You will operate the water cart across site, perform pre-start checks, assist with nearby dust suppression, and work safely within a team under site procedures. HR licence and White Card required; October start.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver’s Licence is required.
• Current Construction White Card is required.
• Previous water cart operating experience is essential.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

What’s on Offer?

• $45.00 per hour + penalties
• Monday to Friday roster with weekends generally free
• Day shift only – no night shifts required
• Local work with the benefit of being home every night
• Ongoing project work for several months
• Residential expansion project based in Sarina
• October commencement

About the Role:

• Operating a water cart safely and efficiently across site
• Dust suppression and road maintenance activities
• Conducting pre-start checks and routine equipment inspections
• Maintaining equipment to site standards
• Working in accordance with site safety procedures
• Assisting with general site duties as required
• Working effectively within a team environment to meet project requirements

Roster

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm/5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Occasional Saturday work as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current HR Driver’s Licence
• Current Construction White Card
• Previous water cart operating experience
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
