Job summary

Protech Mackay is seeking an experienced Water Cart Operator for a residential expansion project in Sarina. This ongoing work offers consistent hours and local roster with home every night. The role centers on safe operation of water carts, dust suppression, and site maintenance on a long-term project starting in October.

Day shifts only, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Requires HR Licence, White Card, and Water Cart RII competencies; prior water cart experience highly valued.

Protech Mackay is seeking an experienced Water Cart Operator to join a residential expansion project based in Sarina.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing local work with consistent hours, competitive pay rates, and the benefit of being home every night while working on a long-term project.

About the Role:

• Operating a water cart safely and efficiently across site
• Dust suppression and road maintenance activities
• Conducting pre-start checks and routine equipment inspections
• Maintaining equipment to site standards
• Working in accordance with site safety procedures
• Assisting with general site duties as required
• Working effectively within a team environment to meet project requirements

Roster

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm/5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Occasional Saturday work as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current HR Driver's Licence
• Current Construction White Card
• Current Water Cart RII Competencies
• Previous water cart operating experience
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
