Qualifications

• Current C Class Driver Licence is required.
• Certificate III in Water Industry Plant Operations is required.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety issues as applicable to treatment facilities.
• Experience operating PLC and SCADA systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain Council's water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Assist with afterhours work and rostered weekend overtime on-call program.
• Perform routine and non-routine plant maintenance and monitoring tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency and Council directives.
