Griffith City Council is seeking a Water and Wastewater Maintenance Operator to construct, operate and maintain the town’s water and sewerage reticulation system to relevant standards in a safe, economical and proficient manner. You will use the plant equipment and materials supplied and be available for on-call duties.

You’ll join a collaborative team that values safety, integrity and service to the community, with opportunities for training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian driver license.
• Current White Card/GCIT (General Construction Induction Training) required.
• Candidate should be a collaborative team player committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Construct, operate and maintain the water and sewerage reticulation system to required standards.
• Work safely and efficiently using plant equipment and materials provided.
• Be available to participate in the on-call roster.
