Job summary

McIntosh Water Cartage is seeking experienced truck drivers to join our team, delivering bulk water from a depot in Yarragon with predominantly local Gippsland work and some travel to the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.

We offer full-time or permanent-casual roles, a modern, well-maintained fleet, and a friendly team environment with uniforms provided. HC licence holders with a clean driving record are preferred; MC licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• HC licence with clean driving record.
• Experience operating single or B/Double tanker trailers advantageous.
• Friendly, positive attitude with great customer service skills.
• Availability from Monday to Friday with weekend work available.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting of hoses and equipment.
• Familiar with OH&S requirements and Driver Fatigue management.
• Road ranger experience desired but not essential.
• Flexible hours.

Job description

McIntosh Water Cartage is looking for experienced truck drivers to join our team to supply customers with their bulk water needs on either a full-time or permanent-casual basis. Our depot is located in Yarragon and the majority of work will be undertaken locally within Gippsland with some travel to the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne required.

Key responsibilities

Operate single or B/Double tanker trailers

Drive on all types of roads including farms and difficult-to-access properties

Heavy lifting of hoses and equipment

Deliver bulk water to commercial and domestic customers

Keep trucks clean and presentable

About you

HC license with clean driving record (MC license desirable but not essential)

McIntosh Water Cartage is a family owned business who has been delivering water to our region for over 40 years. We deliver bulk water from 2,000 litres to 38,000 litres per load in our stainless steel, food grade tankers to customers all over West/South and East Gippsland, down to Melbourne and beyond. We deliver water for tanks, pools, construction, agricultural and commercial uses as well as critical infrastructure works and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
