Job summary

Tandy Group in the Mackay region is seeking an experienced HC Truck Operator to join our team and drive a Portable Water truck. This is a full-time position with an immediate start for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities include safely operating a water truck, carrying out water carting duties, delivering water to required locations, daily vehicle checks, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while complying with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid HC driver's licence.
• Previous water truck or similar heavy vehicle experience.
• Experience in transport, civil or construction industry preferred.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Professional work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Ability to pass a driver medical if required.

CLH Transport is part of the Tandy Group and operates an extensive transport fleet, which consists of a variety of truck combinations including truck and dogs, concrete agitator trucks, semi tippers, flat tops crane trucks, tautliners and cement tankers.

About the role

We are seeking experienced HC Truck Operator to join our team in the Mackay region for driving Portable Water truck.

This is a fulltime position. Immediate start for the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a water truck, carrying out water carting duties and supporting our operations across the Mackay region.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a water truck.
• Carry out water carting duties.
• Deliver water safely and efficiently to required locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.

• Provide professional and reliable service to customers and the wider team.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will have:

• Current and validHC driver's licence.
• Previous water truck or similar heavy vehicle experience.
• Experience in the transport, civil or construction industry is preferred.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A professional work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Current White Card is preferred.
• Familiarity with theMackay regionwould be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Ability to pass a driver medical, if required.
