Job summary

Seqwater on the Gold Coast is seeking an Operator Supply to ensure continuous and efficient operation of water treatment plants. You will apply sound judgement and technical knowledge to meet supply demand, monitor water quality, manage chemical dosing and respond to alarms and faults to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Certificate II or higher in Water Industry Operations or equivalent experience.
• C class manual driver's licence.
• Ability to monitor and test water quality and respond to alarms.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, control and optimise water treatment processes to meet SOP outcomes.
• Collect and analyse process samples per schedule to ensure process integrity.
• Identify faults, evaluate options and implement corrective actions to maintain plant operation.
• Record plant data daily, complete logs and incident reports as required.
• Report breakdowns and abnormal occurrences to prevent recurrence and safeguard water quality.
