Job summary

SunWater is seeking an Operator Maintainer to ensure water distribution and system monitoring across infrastructure in Moranbah. Reporting to the Supervisor - Operations, you will perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance within required standards and timeframes.

The role offers on-call duties (1 in 2), safety-focused work, and opportunities for training and development for both experienced and entry-level candidates, with support to build a long-term career in the water industry.

Qualifications

• A current C Class driver's licence.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets, or the ability to obtain them.
• The ability to obtain a Certificate III in Water Operations.
• A willingness to work outdoors and perform physically active work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational and maintenance activities safely and efficiently, in line with business processes and compliance requirements.
• Conduct fault analysis, recommend solutions, and identify risks and mitigations.
• Maintain surveillance of water supply infrastructure and provide timely feedback on asset condition and performance.
