Job summary

Sunwater invites applications for a Storage Operator reporting to the Supervisor Operations. This role drives safe, reliable delivery of water services, operates critical infrastructure, investigates issues and implements controls while managing risks.

You will work an 8/6 roster with on-call duties 1-in-2 weekends, and hold Cert III in Water Operations, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. Experience in dam and emergency operations is required, with Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets

Qualifications

Cert III in Water Operations (or ability to obtain).
Experience supervising site activities and supporting dam and emergency operations.
Sound knowledge of computer applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Maintaining surveillance and monitoring of water supply infrastructure.
Undertaking routine dam and flood surveillance activities, including reporting and responding to emergencies or breakdowns to minimise service interruptions.
Scheduling, controlling, measuring and monitoring water distribution through natural waterways and engineered delivery systems.
Supporting the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities, while maintaining accurate records and operational logs.
Participating in emergency response and flood operations as required.
