Job summary

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking a Labourer – Reticulation to support the construction, maintenance and repair of vital water and sewer infrastructure. The role involves outdoor work, problem solving and both planned and emergency works, including pipelines, valves, hydrants and assets.

Applicants should have a NSW Driver's license, White Card, experience with small plant, and the ability to work in a team. Generous benefits and a permanent full-time position are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in the utilisation of small plant.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Sound knowledge of the metric system of measurement.
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call roster as required.
• Possess a current NSW Drivers' license.
• Possess Work Health and Safety Construction Induction card (White card) in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.

Responsibilities

• Support construction, maintenance and repair of water and sewer infrastructure.
• Involves both planned and emergency works, including installation and upkeep of pipelines, valves, hydrants and associated assets.
