Job summary

North East Water is seeking a Water and Sewer Network Operator based in Wodonga to maintain and repair water and wastewater reticulation systems. This full-time role includes a monthly RDO and flexible work options within the Wodonga reticulation team.

Your duties cover emergency and scheduled repairs, meter work, asset inspection, and completing electronic work orders, with pre-employment checks and eligibility to work in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of and/or experience in asset and equipment monitoring and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills with ability to complete system checks and data entry.
• Understanding of water and sewer networks; experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency repairs on water and wastewater pipes and assets.
• Scheduled maintenance on water and wastewater pipes and assets.
• Monitoring and maintenance of sewer pump stations.
• Water meter inspections, readings and repairs.
• Inspection of pipes and assets.
• Completion of electronic work orders and data entry.
• Ordering and collecting parts and materials.
• Basic site and ground maintenance.
