Job summary

Stantec in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Water Servicing Coordinator to support major Sydney Water developer works projects. Based in Sydney or Wollongong, the role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities to contribute to master-planned communities, parks, and multimodal corridors.

You will design infrastructure solutions, coordinate design activities, engage with clients, and perform fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated at least two years' experience within a Water Servicing Coordinator role.
• A demonstrated design background.
• Previous experience in project management on Sydney Water projects.
• Strong understanding of Sydney Water policies and procedures.
• Previous experience with relevant computing packages including AutoCAD, and MS packages (Excel, Word, Project).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working with Sydney Waters Hydra and E-Developer system
• Working on projects from Application to Project Completion
• Working with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations
• Data analysis, interpretation and assessment to achieve project goals
• Design coordination and submission of proposals ensuring relevant timeframes and budgets are met
• Attendance at project/client meetings and engaging in community consultation
• Undertaking field work and site inspections

About the role

As a result, our Sydney and Wollongong offices are currently seeking an experienced Water Servicing Coordinator to join our team to continue this success. Reporting to the Utilities and WSC lead, you will be responsible for working on major Sydney Water developer works projects pertaining to the design of Sydney Water infrastructure for major transport, and community development projects. This role can be based in either Sydney or Wollongong and offers flexible work arrangements. Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.
