GWMWater is seeking a Water Services Operator based in Birchip as part of the Mallee Service Delivery team. The role operates, maintains and monitors water and wastewater systems to ensure reliable service delivery to communities.

The successful applicant will undertake a variety of operational activities across the Mallee region, respond to faults, perform sampling and inspections, and support emergency response activities. An after-hours roster is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Water Operations is required or to be completed.
• Experience operating, maintaining and monitoring water and wastewater systems is expected.
• Ability to respond to faults and support emergency response activities.
