Job summary

EMM Consulting Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Surface Water & Land team. You’ll deliver technical support across flooding, water management, water quality and water balance for diverse Australian projects including mining and renewables.

With a tertiary degree in civil or environmental engineering, you’ll bring hydrology expertise and a PM mindset. Hybrid work options apply, with roles based in Newcastle or Adelaide.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Strong foundation in hydrology across water resources management, water quality and water balance.
• Mining project experience is essential; renewable energy project experience desirable.
• CPENG or RPEQ and programming skills are advantageous though not essential.
• Proven capability in project management and strong desire to grow in PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and advice across flooding, water management, water quality and water balance.
• Work on projects across mining, renewables and infrastructure through the full project life-cycle.
• Contribute to a diverse team and stay engaged, challenged and impactful.
• Develop and showcase project management skills to support team success.
• Receive support from leaders and specialist teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
