• Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the water industry
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for complex projects
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimates

Responsibilities

• Review qualified enquiries, tender specs, drawings to confirm scope of supply
• Collaborate with project and sales managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information for cost estimation
• Analyse project requirements to identify products, labour, and equipment for execution
• Use estimating tools to prepare detailed cost estimates (materials, labour, subcontractors, overhead)
• Evaluate alternative solutions and value engineering to optimise costs while upholding AVK standards
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quotes
• Prepare comprehensive proposals to support bid submissions
