Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical estimating for water utilities projects.
• Ability to price large and small water/wastewater projects.
• Familiarity with estimating governance and processes.

Responsibilities

• Use first principles to develop accurate estimates for water utilities and wastewater projects.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and design consultants.
• Conduct research to gather data on labour costs, materials, production times, and more.
• Liaise with designers and suppliers to obtain information and calculate costs.
• Follow estimating processes to ensure governance and confidence in tender prices presented.
