Job summary

ISS Facility Services (Australia) is seeking experienced industrial plumbers or boilermakers for maintenance and preventative water pipeline work at Blackwater, QLD. The role involves 10-hour days on a 9-day fortnight, with rosters Mon-Fri week 1 and Mon-Thu week 2. A focus on safety and quality is required in a remote environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining pipelines, inspecting for leaks, and performing routine checks. On-call once per month applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with pipeline maintenance and preventative maintenance regimes.
• Trade qualifications in Plumbing & Gas Fitting or Boilermaker recognised in Queensland.
• Unrestricted driver licence and construction safety card required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain pipelines and related equipment.
• Inspect for leaks, corrosion or damage along pipelines, pumps, and motors.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance for safe operation.
• Operate valves, pumps, and associated equipment to control water flow.
• Respond to alarms promptly and isolate sections for repair.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
