Job summary

Create is seeking skilled polywelders to join our project teams in Moranbah for HDPE pipeline projects in the mining sector. The role combines labouring, polywelding, and machinery operation in a high-risk environment.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' polywelding experience, with preference for QLD Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, and BMA Core Inductions. Camp accommodation and a 9-day fortnight roster are on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' polywelding experience.
• Be within driving distance to Moranbah (<400km).
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and BMA Core Inductions highly preferred.
• Australian Driver's Licence (truck licence is a bonus!).
• Relevant RII qualifications preferred.
• Pride in your work, strong safety commitment and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble HDPE pipelines on mining projects.
• Operate machinery as required in a high-risk environment.
• Assist with pump installation and commissioning and hydrotesting tasks.
• Fabricate HDPE spools for project needs.

The Role

We're seeking skilled polywelders to join our project teams in the delivery of HDPE pipeline projects for the mining sector. The role is a combination of labouring, polywelding, machinery operation in a high-risk working environment.

Our current projects include medium to large diameter pipeline welding and assembly, pump installation and commissioning, fabrication of custom HDPE spools for project specific requirements, and hydrotesting.

The role is best suited to physically able, mechanically minded people who are looking to build/continue their career in the piping sector.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience on polywelding machines, and highly preferred candidates will also have experience with the following machinery/competencies (note this is not essential):

• High Risk Dogging / Forklift
• Excavators
• Backhoes
• IT Loaders
• Diesel and electric pump sets
