Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of OT network and cybersecurity uplift projects that safeguard essential water services across the region. The role sits at the intersection of project management, critical infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology.

You will coordinate a portfolio from planning through to delivery, manage schedules, budgets and procurement, and partner with contractors and vendors to achieve outcomes with strong governance and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering significant technology, infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
• Strong project governance, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing procurement, vendors and contracts.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Agile.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex technology, infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, procurement activities and reporting.
• Coordinate technical specialists, contractors and external vendors.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, governance and change management activities.
• Manage procurement processes, contract administration and supplier performance.
• Provide clear reporting to project sponsors and senior leaders.
• Ensure projects deliver agreed outcomes and operational readiness.
