Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Water Engineer to support SA Water projects. You will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of water, wastewater, network and treatment infrastructure across the region, working with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, constructible solutions.

Responsibilities include civil design calculations, pipelines, pump stations and treatment facilities, plus coordinating inputs across teams and producing design reports,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience contributing to the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Civil design capability, including design calculations, technical reporting, drawings, specifications and interdisciplinary design coordination.
• Exposure to geotechnical engineering inputs, ground conditions and constructability considerations.
• Understanding of Australian standards, client requirements, safety in design and quality assurance processes.
• Clear communication with multidisciplinary project teams, clients and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical inputs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects with guidance from senior team members.
• Support design development for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities, drainage systems and network assets.
• Coordinate civil design inputs across multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project outcomes.
• Produce design reports, calculations, specifications, schedules and supporting documentation in line with project requirements.
