WorkPac is seeking an experienced Water Cart Operator for a six-month labour hire assignment in Gladstone, QLD. You will operate water carts, perform pre-start checks and dust suppression tasks while maintaining reporting to Supervisors and Control Room.

The role requires RIIMPO326E certification, heavy industry mobile plant experience, a 24/7 rotating roster and a strong safety mindset. Enjoy weekly pay, superannuation, and access to WorkPac benefits and recruiter support.

About the Client

Our client operates a large-scale industrial terminal supporting bulk materials handling and logistics operations. They are seeking experienced mobile plant operators for an anticipated six-month labour hire assignment supporting safe and efficient terminal operations.

What you will be doing

As a Water Cart Operator you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Operate water carts across terminal operational areas
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Complete dust suppression across haul roads, stockpiles and work zones
• Maintain communication with Supervisors and the Control Room
• Complete operational records and report equipment defects

What you will need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• RIIMPO326E Conduct Water Vehicle Operations
• Previous mobile plant experience within heavy industry
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating day and night roster
• Strong safety and environmental awareness
• Additional mobile plant competencies highly regarded
