Job summary

WorkPac is seeking experienced mobile plant operators for a six-month labour hire assignment to support a large-scale industrial terminal in Gladstone Region. You will operate water carts, perform inspections, and conduct dust suppression while maintaining records and liaising with Supervisors and the Control Room.

The role requires RIIMPO326E certification, heavy industry experience, and a flexible 24/7 roster.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile plant within heavy industry.
• RIIMPO326E certification is required.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 roster and night shifts if needed.
• Strong safety and environmental awareness is essential.
• Additional mobile plant competencies are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate water carts across terminal areas.
• Perform pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Conduct dust suppression across haul roads and stockpiles.
• Maintain clear communication with Supervisors and Control Room.
• Record operations and report equipment defects promptly.
