Job summary

Frankston City Council’s City Circularity and Waste Department is seeking an energetic individual to collect and receipt payments for waste disposal, measure waste volumes, and ensure the proper operation of our Transfer Station gatehouse facilities.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, accurately assessing waste types and volumes, processing payments, and maintaining gatehouse operations. Weekend work is required in line with operating hours.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a waste management facility.
• Ability to plan and organise workload to meet objectives.
• Willingness to improve efficiency of operations.
• Ability to prepare accurate documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure a positive customer experience at the Regional Recycling and Recovery Centre.
• Accurately assess waste types and volumes, process payments, and maintain gatehouse operations.
• Monitor contractor activities on site to support contractual compliance and site operations.
