Job summary

CK Recruitment is seeking Waste Sorters for a major waste management facility in Wetherill Park, Sydney. The role is 8 hours on a daily process line, starting at 4:00 am with finishing at 1:36 pm, handling industrial waste in a dusty environment with PPE provided.

On-site parking is available; long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Applicants should have a C Class licence with own transport, be physically fit for manual labour, and be willing to be trained as a Plant Runner or Plant

Qualifications

• Must have a C Class licence and own transport due to location.
• Shift starts at 4:00 am and ends at 1:36 pm.
• Physically fit and willing to do manual labour, including heavy lifting and cleaning.
• Willing to be trained as Plant Runner or Plant Operator.

Responsibilities

• Work on a process line for 8 hours per day.
• Sort and handle industrial waste in a dusty environment with PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate with safety in mind.

Job description

CK Recruitment is currently seeking Waste Sorters for one of Sydney's major waste management companies located in Wetherill Park.

1 x Waste Sorter on Day Shift (Pay Rate $33.85 per hour)

These roles are working at a waste management facility, dealing with industrial waste. I.e. building material, concrete, steel etc.

To be considered you must have;

C Class licence and own transport due to location

Morning shift commencing at 4am and finishing at 1.36pm.

Ability to work on a process line for 8 hours per day

Physically fit and willing to do manual labour (including some heavy lifting and cleaning)

Ability to work quickly and stay focused on the task

Be willing to be trained as either a Plant Runner or Plant Operator

Please note, this job involves working in a dusty environment which require you to wear face masks, eye protectionand long sleeve clothing. (the face masks are provided)
