Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking a Waste Services Officer to support administration and management of domestic and commercial waste contracts, and to drive accurate data reporting for compliant service delivery across the Shire.

You will work with the Coordinator Waste Services and stakeholders to deliver sustainable, customer-focused waste services, with flexible working options and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration/Finance or related discipline, or extensive administration experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
• Experience generating accurate reports from complex data sources with attention to detail.
• Understanding of contract requirements and local government roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and management of Council's domestic and commercial waste collection, disposal, and processing contracts.
• Collect, analyse and reconcile waste data to support continuous improvement.
• Support delivery of efficient, sustainable, and customer-focused waste services.
