Job summary

Bega Valley Shire Council invites applications for seasonal casual positions across the Waste and Recycling Centres in Bemboka, Bermagui, Candelo, Eden, Merimbula, Wallagoot and Frogs Hollow. You will undertake a range of waste facility operations including customer liaison, fee collection, transfer and management of waste within the facility, and maintenance of associated records.

To be successful you will have two years’ experience in a similar role, be proficient in cash handling, and have

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating landfill plant or similar earthmoving equipment.
• Strong oral communication in a customer-facing work environment.
• Experience with cash handling procedures.
