Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking an experienced Waste Truck Driver/Labourer for a casual ongoing role near Perth. The position offers hours up to 50 per week, with Saturday/Sunday shifts and public holidays.

You will collect household, commercial and public waste across designated routes in a safe and professional manner. You must hold a current HR-A licence, have experience with waste collection vehicles, and be committed to WHS.

Qualifications

• Current and valid HR Class Driver's Licence (minimum HR-A).
• Demonstrated experience operating waste collection vehicles.
• Experience operating side and/or rear loader trucks highly regarded.
• Minimum one year's experience driving heavy vehicles in metropolitan areas.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to manage a variety of situations professionally and calmly.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Operate side and/or rear loader waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste from residential, commercial and public bins across designated routes.
• Adhere to all Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Deliver a high level of customer service when interacting with residents and businesses.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure collection schedules are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Work independently while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

About the Role:
