Job summary

Cleanaway in Victoria is seeking an HR Driver to join our team in Tullamarine, operating a side lift collection vehicle across municipal contracts. You’ll be on the road daily delivering essential waste management services with a focus on safety and reliability.

A current HR licence with at least 12 months’ driving experience is required; side lift experience is a bonus and training is provided. The role offers full‑time, permanent hours with overtime opportunities and an attractive salary

• Willingness to work hours between 5:00am and 5:00pm.
• Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Side lift experience is advantageous but not essential; training provided.

The Opportunity

Looking for a stable driving role with reliable hours, a supportive team and the opportunity to earn extra through overtime?

We’re looking for an experienced HR Driver to join our team in Tullamarine, operating a side lift collection vehicle across municipal contracts.

You’ll be out on the road each day providing an essential service to the community, backed by a great crew and a strong focus on safety. Side lift experience is a bonus, but it’s not essential — we’re happy to train the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete waste collection, loading and unloading duties safely and efficiently.
• Transport loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Deliver reliable, professional service while out on the road.
• Keep your vehicle clean, presentable and ready for the job.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and ready to get the job done.

• A current HR Licence with at least 12 months’ driving experience, or previous side lift experience.
• A solid employment history and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work between 5:00am and 5:00pm.
• A genuine commitment to safety and being part of a team.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
• Waste industry or side lift experience would be highly regarded, but it’s not essential. Training will be provided to the right person
