Job summary

Air Conditioning Equipment Pty ltd in Carrum Downs is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehousing Support to join our small, hands-on team. The role blends delivery responsibilities with warehouse duties, offering variety and a chance to contribute to reliable service for contractors, retail outlets and project sites.

You will drive and deliver HVAC equipment, assist with stock handling, and support order processing and customer enquiries.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid full drivers licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous warehouse or store-person experience preferred.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver air conditioning units and related equipment to contractors, retail stores, and project sites.
• Assist with handling and lifting bulky items, working closely with forklift operators to ensure safe delivery.
• Complete accurate goods receipting, reconcile delivery dockets, and ensure all paperwork and systems are aligned.
• Assist warehousing to receive, unpack and record incoming stock in our ERP system.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers and team members.
• Maintain organised and accurate inventory.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide product information.
• Process sales orders and transactions accurately.
• Prepare quotes and support the sales team with follow-ups.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on hybrid, varied role combining Delivery Driving and Warehouse Operations. You'll be an important link between our products, our team, and our customers. You'll spend part of your day delivering air conditioning units and related equipment to our clients and the other half ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently preparing for the next day's deliveries. There is some support required for customer enquiries and processing sales. There's no cold calling in this role, our sales are relationship-driven and inbound. This role suits someone who is organised, dependable, enjoys being active, and takes pride in delivering a consistently high standard of work.

You'll ideally bring:
