Job summary

Chandler Macleod and Amazon Australia invite applications for a casual Warehouse Worker role at the Kemps Creek fulfilment centre. You will be required to be available across 4 days per week, including one weekend day, with 10-hour shifts and full training provided.

Day shifts pay AUD 34.19 per hour and night shifts pay AUD 40 per hour, with penalties for night/weekend work. On-site parking is available and you must have the right to work in Australia.

Job description

Warehouse Worker with Amazon

• Work at Amazon Australia’s first robotics Fulfillment Centre located in Kemps Creek
• Employee parking available onsite
• Training and ongoing support provided
• Flexible work across night shifts

Your starting rate of pay is from $34.19 for day shift and from $40 for night shift, you get paid penalties when you work night, early morning or weekend shifts.

DAY SHIFT: 7:30 - 17:30 / 08:00 - 18:00

NIGHT SHIFT: 18:00 - 04:00 / 18:30 - 04:30

About the role

This is a casual role where you will be required to be available across 4 days per week (including 1 day on the weekend). We have day and night shifts available with each shift being 10 hours long. Experience is not required for these positions and full training is provided, however, an ability to follow instructions and standard processes is a must.

Responsibilities

• Picking and Packing of boxes being sent to and from the warehouse
• Stowing received items throughout the facility
• Picking items from the shelves using an RF scanner (training provided)
• Organising and distributing boxes that will be sent to the customer
• Cleaning and organisation of the warehouse environment
• Adhering to safety, quality and production standards
• Standing and walking for long periods
• Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight

Successful applicants will be employed byChandler Macleod to carry out a temporary work assignment to Amazon and will be required to complete background and police check and a drug and alcohol test. You must also have the right to work in Australia.
