Amazon is seeking Process Assistants for our site BWU2, Amazon Australia’s first Robotics site.

Key Job Elements

• Support and work in the department as required.
• Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties.
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.
• Provide policy follow‑up, attendance tracking (disciplines are not included).
• Track and report ATS/labor hours.
• Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance.
• Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity.
• Fill in as needed with production duties.
• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOP as required.
• Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area.
• Coach associates to work safely at all times.
• Participate in safety initiatives.
• Refer all job injuries immediately to the area manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.
• 18 years of age or older.
