Job summary

Carpet World Group is seeking a Warehouse Team Member in Carrum Downs to support and lead the day-to-day warehouse operations. You will work under the Warehouse Manager, ensuring accurate stock handling and efficient dispatches.

This role is ideal for someone aiming to develop leadership skills within a growing organisation spanning Superior Weave and Carpet World.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' warehouse experience.
• Experience supporting or leading team members.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Able to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident with computers and warehouse systems.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Forklift licence and flooring industry experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut carpet and timber flooring orders.
• Coordinate product dispatches and installation jobs.
• Receive stock and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Process jobs through the B2B system.
• Support daily warehouse operations and workload planning.
• Guide and support Warehouse Team Members.
• Step into a leadership role when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse.

Located in Carrum Downs, the Carpet World Group comprises two successful and growing businesses, Superior Weave and Carpet World. As our businesses continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Member to join our team and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day success of our warehouse operations. About the role

This is more than a typical warehouse position.

We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading by example, takes ownership of their work and is ready to step up when required. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will provide support, guidance and coordination to the warehouse team while ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our warehouse.

Whilst this is not a management role, you will be a trusted member of the small team with the ability to step into a leadership capacity when required and assist in maintaining operational continuity. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their leadership skills and progress their career within a growing organisation.
