Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operator

Full-Time Position | Wodonga, VIC

Border Carpets & National Tiles Wodonga is seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is an important operational role responsible for the safe, efficient and timely preparation and delivery of customer orders, while supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

We are looking for a professional, organised and accountable individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of safety, quality and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, handling and delivery of customer orders, as well as supporting the efficient operation and presentation of the warehouse.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely and professionally delivering customer orders to site

• Picking, preparing, packing and loading orders for delivery

• Receiving and processing incoming goods

• Operating forklifts and safely moving stock throughout the warehouse

• Ensuring stock is correctly stacked, stored and maintained

• Ensuring all outgoing goods are accurate and delivered within agreed timeframes

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

• Maintaining company vehicles to a high standard and completing vehicle logbooks accurately

• Reporting vehicle, warehouse and equipment maintenance requirements

• Completing relevant paperwork and documentation accurately and on time

• Supporting general warehouse operations and housekeeping

• Following all company policies, procedures and Workplace Health & Safety requirements

Essential Requirements

• Current MR (Medium Rigid) Driver's Licence

• Current Forklift Licence

• OH&S White Card

• Previous forklift operating experience

• Experience with manual handling

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

• Ability to read and interpret written instructions

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, delivery or similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
