Job summary

SF Express Australia & New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage outbound activities and daily warehouse tasks. You will plan workloads, ensure SOP compliance, and maintain data accuracy in the WMS while leading a team to meet service levels across cross-border and local distribution.

The role requires forklift competency, a logistics-focused background, and bilingual English/Chinese capabilities, with a view to contributing to a safe, efficient and scalable

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, International Trade, or related disciplines preferred.
• Hands-on experience in warehouse inventory management with understanding of inbound container unloading, pallet breakdown, put-away and outbound picking.
• Strong ability to analyse inventory issues and independently propose optimisation solutions, with execution capability.
• Proficient in basic office software (Excel, Word) and familiar with using WMS systems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and teamwork spirit.
• Basic proficiency in English and Chinese, able to read and understand operational labels and work instructions.
• Self-motivated, accountable and willing to learn and grow with the business.
• Valid forklift licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations with a focus on outbound activities (picking, packing, staging, loading, dispatch).
• Plan daily workloads and allocate staff and resources to ensure timely outbound orders.
• Ensure outbound processes comply with SOPs and customer requirements; maintain order accuracy and service standards.
• Data entry and inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and lead productivity improvements in dispatch.
• Supervise handling of damaged goods, discrepancies and dispatch exceptions; ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate with transport providers, logistics, customer service and sales teams for collections and deliveries.
• Supervise, train and guide warehouse staff; ensure compliance with procedures and inventory controls.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment per WHS standards.
• Coordinate inbound and replenishment activities to support smooth outbound operations.
• Undertake other operational duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, with a primary focus on outbound activities, including picking, packing, staging, loading and dispatch;

• Plan daily workloads and allocate staff and resources to ensure outbound orders are completed accurately and on time;

• Ensure outbound processes comply with SOPs and customer requirements, maintaining order accuracy and service standards;

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry, order updates and inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS);

• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy;

• Monitor warehouse performance, identify operational risks and bottlenecks, and lead improvements in productivity and dispatch efficiency;

• Supervise the handling of damaged goods, picking discrepancies and dispatch exceptions, ensuring timely reporting and resolution;

• Coordinate with transport providers, logistics, customer service and sales teams to manage collections, delivery requirements and urgent orders;

• Supervise, train and guide warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, inventory controls and performance expectations;

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in line with company and WHS standards;

• Coordinate inbound and replenishment activities to ensure stock availability and support smooth outbound operations;

• Undertake other operational duties as assigned by management.
  

Requirements
