Blackwoods is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Mt Isa Trade Store & Warehouse, driving operational excellence and a safety-focused culture across two sites with a small team.

This permanent, full-time role on a Monday to Friday roster offers opportunities to develop people, improve processes, manage inventory accuracy, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes while coordinating logistics and supporting commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse, logistics or distribution (multi-site a plus).
• Strong inventory management including cycle counting, stock allocation and stock rotation.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, analyse information and resolve issues effectively.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety, including leading toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a warehouse team of 4 across two sites.
• Allocate resources to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Drive a strong safety culture with toolbox talks, safety stand-ups and WHS initiatives.
• Oversee inventory activities: cycle counting, stock allocation, rotation, accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and operational issues; provide timely solutions and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate receiving, picking/packing, dispatch and inventory control to meet service levels.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost performance and customer outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while staying customer-focused.
• Understand how warehouse operations impact commercial performance.
