Job summary

Hardie Hose is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Hemmant QLD distribution centre on a full-time basis. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, staff performance and safety protocols to ensure efficient flow of goods.

Key duties include supervising receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory accuracy and reporting on performance metrics. Collaboration with logistics, sales and customer service is essential to ensure timely order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse staff in distribution/logistics.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop staff.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouses.
• Proficiency with WMS and related software.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of warehouse staff across receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Implement health and safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
• Optimise layouts and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Coordinate with logistics, sales and customer service for accurate order fulfilment.
• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure machinery is in working order.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislation.
