Job summary

DG Air Freight is expanding and seeks a full-time Warehouse Storeperson/Driver to join our Sydney team. The role covers local driving, loading/unloading trucks, delivering to customer sites, ports, and airports, plus handling dangerous goods qualifications by on-the-job training.

You will operate forklifts, perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting a growing freight operation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence required.
• Year 11 completion or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Local driving across Sydney metro and outer areas.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Delivering goods to customer sites, ports and airports.
• Ensure on-time delivery to final destination.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and keep vehicle clean.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local Driving - Syd Metro& Outer Metro
• Loading and unloading of Trucks
• Delivery of Goods to Customer sites, Ports and Airports
• Ensuring clients freight arrives at final destination within required time frames;
• Preform Maintenance Checks and keep cleanliness of Vehicle
• Providing an outstanding level of Customer Service to our clients
• Packing and Preparing Dangerous Goods Shipments
• Use of Forklift

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Required

• Driver's Licence
• Completed Year 11 or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Eager to learn, team player

Highly desired
